The Mobile Television Group requires each employee (full time and freelance) to behave with the highest degree of professionalism in everything they do for the company and our clients. Employees are expected to treat every person they encounter in the work environment with the highest level of honesty, courtesy, respect and consideration. While this means respecting our clients and fellow employees, it also means respecting the participants and spectators at the events we are privileged to cover. All shots - recorded or live - must only be those that are relative to the event being covered. Each individual must take it upon themselves to avoid showing shots of men or women which may be degrading or inappropriate. You must also be careful what you say and be sensitive to those that may overhear your comments. This is not limited to just what goes out over the air; this also includes each individual camera, tape machine, microphone and monitor at your disposal. You never know who may be offended by what is being displayed or discussed. It could be someone behind your camera, someone in the arena or someone next to you in the truck. Failure to abide by the policies of the Mobile Television Group may result in disciplinary action, including termination. |
